We bring interactive learning, assessments, recorded lessons and student progress together in one connected platform, making teaching simpler for independent tutors and learning more engaging and effective for students.
Why PrepBanz exists
Teaching a lesson is one thing. Knowing whether every student has understood it is another.
For independent tutors, assessing students regularly can be time-consuming. Many already run their week across a video app, group chats, spreadsheets and folders of teaching resources. Without frequent assessments, learning gaps may go unnoticed, and students who struggle with fundamental concepts may find advanced topics increasingly difficult.
PrepBanz was created to help address this challenge, and to bring those scattered tools together in one place. Through interactive video lessons, recordings, assignments, quizzes and automated grading, PrepBanz makes it easier for students to stay engaged and for tutors to understand their progress.
Students can revisit lessons, interact with learning content and test their understanding. Assessment results help tutors recognise where students need additional support without manually grading every response.

Our mission is to empower independent tutors with a connected teaching platform that reduces administrative work, simplifies assessments and helps them better understand their students. At the same time, we aim to make learning more interactive, engaging and accessible.
What PrepBanz is
PrepBanz doesn't find students for tutors or tutors for families. Tutors bring their own students, run their own courses and keep their own tuition fees, and they stay in control of how they teach and assess.
Tutors teach on PrepBanz without a subscription fee. Families pay a monthly platform fee for each course, as set out on our Pricing page.
Tutors teach live, set work and assessments, and decide when results are released.
For tutorsStudents join their tutor's class with an invite link or class code, then learn, practise and see their released results.
For studentsParents with a linked account see attendance and released results, and message the tutor.

We're building it so independent tutors spend less time on admin and marking, see more clearly what each student has understood, and have more time to teach.
