The short version
- Our website uses one optional tool, Google Analytics, and only if you accept it. Until you choose, it's off.
- Rejecting analytics is as easy as accepting it, and you can change your mind at any time in Cookie settings.
- The website remembers your choice on your device, so it doesn't ask on every page.
- The PrepBanz app keeps only what it needs on your device to keep you signed in and working, plus your theme.
- We don't use advertising cookies on the website or in the app.
- Card payments, Google sign-in and live classes in the app use their providers' own storage so they work and stay secure.
1Cookies and device storage
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Websites and apps can also keep information in your browser's own storage, or in your phone's storage in the mobile app, which works in a similar way. This policy covers both, and calls them "storage" for short.
Some storage is needed for a website or app to work, such as keeping you signed in. Other storage is optional, such as analytics. We only use optional storage if you agree to it.
2Our website
Our website at prepbanz.com keeps very little on your device:

Our fonts are kept on our own site, so reading a page doesn't contact a font service.
When you send a message with our contact form, the form sends it to a form-processing service, which passes it to our inbox. This doesn't set any cookies.
Booking a demo opens our scheduling provider's own website in a new tab. That site uses its own cookies, under its own policy.
When you follow a link to sign up or log in, you move to the PrepBanz app, which section 3 covers.
Our hosting provider may keep technical logs to deliver the site and keep it secure, as our Privacy policy explains.
3The PrepBanz app
The app uses your browser's storage, or your phone's storage in the mobile app, rather than cookies of its own. Everything it keeps is needed for the app to work, apart from your theme, which is a preference you choose.

Notifications on your phone. If you allow notifications in the mobile app, your phone gives the app a notification token so we can send you notifications through Apple's or Google's notification service. Signing out stops notifications to that device, and you can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
Features run by other companies. Some features in the app use tools from other companies, which may set cookies or use storage of their own so the feature works and stays secure. They load only when you use that feature in the app, never on our website:
- card payments, handled by Stripe;
- signing in with Google, if you choose it;
- live classes in PrepBanz, which run on Zoom;
- your tutor's own meeting link, if they use one, which opens that video service under its own policies.
The app doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies.
4Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics on our website. If you accept analytics, our website uses Google Analytics 4, a service from Google, to understand how the site is used. It tells us things like which pages are visited, how people found us, for example from a search or a campaign link, the type of device and browser, the country or region they're in, and which buttons such as sign-up, contact or demo booking are used.
What we don't send. We don't send your name, email address, phone number, the contents of forms, payment details or anything from inside the PrepBanz app. We remove other details from page addresses, keeping only campaign tags. Google signals and advertising personalisation are switched off.
Only with your consent. Google Analytics doesn't load, and sets no cookies, until you choose Accept analytics. If you choose Reject analytics, or make no choice, it stays off. Carrying on browsing isn't taken as a yes.
Changing your mind. You can switch analytics off at any time in Cookie settings. It stops straight away, and we delete its cookies for our site from your browser. Switching it off doesn't remove information that was sent before.
Google's role. Google processes this information to provide the service to us, and may do so in other countries, as our Privacy policy explains.
Advertising. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on our website or in the app. If that changes, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent before anything is used.
5Managing your choices and storage
Analytics on our website. Use Cookie settings at the foot of any page, or the button below, to accept or reject analytics.
Your browser. You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser's settings at any time. If you clear our website's storage, we'll ask about analytics again.
The app. If you clear the app's storage, you'll be signed out and the app will forget where you were. Because the app needs its storage to work, it won't work properly if you block it.
Information we hold. Clearing storage on your device doesn't delete the information PrepBanz holds about you. To ask us to delete it, see our Privacy policy.
Notifications. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
6Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when we change what the website or the app keeps on your device. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we add a new optional tool, we'll ask for your consent before it's used.
